I don’t get it. These aren’t the numbers in the previous strip. Are these guys like geese? Everyday is a new world of logic?
Or does this mean every time they trade the stakes increase? Some kind of string theory logic? In that case, they should keep trading until one envelope contains the equivalent value of the entire universe. Then demand capitulation from the entire cosmos or they’ll switch again and possibly make all sentient beings indentured servants.
